Forindustrie’s “Univers Extraordinaire” allows thousands of young people to discover careers in industry through a fun and interactive gaming platform.
We designed this online platform to engage high school students and introduce them to careers in industry. The experience is organized around several sections dedicated to specific regions or industrial sectors, where players can access video content, take quizzes, and meet industry professionals. For three weeks, the game is available to all high school students in France as well as job seekers.
The worlds that players are invited to explore are co-designed with industry partners from each region or sector during workshops we facilitate. The worlds are modeled by our 3D artists.
We handle the technical development ourselves using the Unity real-time 3D engine. What sets this project apart is its accessibility via web browsers, thanks to a WebGL port. The initial development in Unity allows us to expand navigation capabilities, particularly with virtual reality headsets.
At the end of the Grand Interclass Challenge, during which students compete to earn as many points as possible, the winners are rewarded with site visits to partner companies. The Extraordinary Dinners, held in each region, are events that bring together industrial and institutional partners for gala evenings. We organize all technical, logistical, and editorial aspects of these events.
